Microsoft’s Muckleston returns home

Former Microsoft NZ mid-sized businesses and partner director Paul Muckleston is set to return from Germany to take up the business, marketing and operations director role.

Muckleston is no stranger to the vendor's marketing role, having been sales and marketing director in 2004.

Former local marketing director Brent Colbert has changed roles to become partner proup director. Colbert had been in the role since 2005.

Muckleston's most recent role in Germany was general manager of Central and Eastern Europe for small and mid market, solutions and partners.

He left New Zealand in late 2005 to become director of business management and strategy for Microsoft’s Central and Eastern Europe region, based in Paris.

He joined the vendor in 1996 and has held a variety of roles both locally and overseas.

Microsoft NZ managing director Kevin Ackhurst says the experience Muckleston gained within Microsoft in Europe will greatly benefit New Zealand.
