Cisco tech makeover again popular

Cisco’s second $50,000 technology make-over competition for local small businesses has attracted more than 100 entries.

The contest closes next week, after which entries will be judged by a panel of Cisco staff, a Cisco partner and representatives from TV3, which is promoting the makeover on the ASB Business show.

Any local firm with fewer than 50 employees can enter, by writing 60 words describing how the technology would help their business grow. The winning company gets an evaluation of their existing technology, followed by the installation of a tailored unified communications system.
