Networking technology company Endace will officially open a new laboratory at its Hamilton office today, increasing staff levels at the office from 60 to 90.
The company says the move signals continuing growth and investment in its Hamilton operation.
“Our growth is in line with the demand we are seeing for Endace products globally and is pleasing in a market where so many others are retrenching,” chief technology officer Stuart Wilson says.
“We compete globally for talented staff and continue to be successful in attracting top-level people to live and work in Hamilton.”
Endace was born out of technology developed at Waikato University. The company's CEO, Mike Riley, says the expansion signals Endace’s ongoing commitment to the region.
“In addition to expanding our R&D capability the new space houses a dedicated support and quality assurance lab which will provide service support to Endace’s global client base 24x7,” Riley says.
