Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) is seeking proposals for an enterprise storage offering to replace its current aging equipment.
According to request for proposal documents released this week, CDHB also wants longer term storage needs, encompassing one, two and five year strategies.
The long term plan is designed to encompass emerging technologies and innovative storage management options.
CDHB is open to considering innovative storage options as long as the benefits, risks and costs of these options are detailed. It looks after 13 hospitals in the South Island and wants to improve patient services by using enterprise storage.
The deadline for replies is Friday, August 28. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 26822.
