South Korea's online games have continuously gained ground in the global game market and are set to expand.
GamenGame.com provides popular Korean online games through its website, "gamengame.com", for free. Meanwhile, the Korean game industry association KAOGI estimates that Korean online game exports will reach US$2 billion in 2010, as Korean-made games were recently ranked high in popular online gaming charts in countries such as North America, Japan, Taiwan, and China.
Today, Korean online games are exported to about 70 countries. Of these countries, servicing North America, Japan, China and Taiwan is more meaningful than other regions, since these are dominant countries in gaming with about 50 percent of the world game market share, according to the association. Also, Taiwan is noteworthy for being the test bed for online games.
Korean online games have recently shown prominence in these four countries and are gradually spreading worldwide.
GamenGame.com shows that pioneering into new markets, long-term investment and providing various genres of games are the key points for the success of Korean online games.
GamenGame.com offers popular Korean online games. On the site, gamers can fully enjoy Ghost X, Groove Party, Remayq, Metin2, Grand Fisher, Twingkle Gunners2 and FF Showdown for free by simply signing up as a member.
Furthermore, it provides introductions and reviews for each game and offers opportunities to win prizes through ongoing events.
