Customs to replace content management system

Customs to replace content management system

The NZ Customs Service is looking for a vendor to upgrade its current content management system and redesign its intranet and internet websites.

Customs expects to re-write much of the content existing on its intranet, refresh the content on its internet site, and update the layout.

According to expressions of interest documents released this week, Customs is shortlisting software replacement suppliers with the right technical experience.

The successful vendor will provide the content management system and other services within a $400,000 budget.

This includes converting documents from Customs’ existing internet website, currently hosted in a

Microsoft CMS 2002 system, to the new website and providing training to Customs staff.

The deadline for replies is Friday, September 11. More details are available on the Government

Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference number 26961.
