MED puts in communications call

The Ministry of Economic Development is looking at its options for an end to end secure quadruple play communications offering. This will cover voice, video, data mobile with security.

The tender is taking place as the Ministry wants to simplify its infrastructure and business processes.

The offering should include internal and external content, fixed, mobile call combinations and blended call charging, end to end monitoring and provision of data via ethernet.

An existing suite of free-phone number in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch needs to be supported along with a contract centre of 50 staff.

The deadline for replies is Monday, September 7. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 26963.
