Anixter becomes Emerson Network Power disty

ANZ distributor Anixter has teamed up with US-based IT networking company Emerson Network Power to offer its range of Liebert switching and monitoring products.

Anixter managing director Wayne Bogart says the two companies work closely in other parts of the world so the arrangement is a good fit.

“We’ve built a strong business in the region around specialist skills in structured cabling for power and data, with a focus on communications, security and switching systems,” he says.

“It makes sense that we partner with the leaders in these fields.”

Emerson Network Power ANZ managing director David Scott says Anixter has a loyal and experienced channel that will further its reach into computer and server rooms.

“We’ve traditionally lead from the front in the larger data centres, developing new technologies that markedly reduce the energy draw and environmental emissions in IT infrastructure facilities.”
