Parliamentary Service moves to single IT provider

Parliamentary Service moves to single IT provider

In order to save costs, the Parliamentary Service is searching for one IT provider for its service desk and ICT support requirements.

The project is meant to improve service delivery and establish a shared infrastructure for Ministers of the Crown and members of Parliament. The supplier will offer desktop, server and network support for the divisions.

Once this is completed, the Service wants the supplier to move both organisations on to a shared network by the end of 2010. This project is designed to encourage closer collaboration.

The deadline for replies is Friday, September 18. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27212.
