Government Security Bureau building audio visual centre

The Government Communication Security Bureau (GCSB) is looking for audio visual (AV) suppliers to provide a high security AV system.

The system is to be installed at the GCSB’s new office under construction in Wellington which is due for completion in 2010.

Tender documents state that it will be one of Wellington’s most secure and complex IT challenges as the building will provide a set of AV, IT, communications and security requirements not found in a standard office. The system will gather foreign intelligence and protect against cyber threats.

Suppliers must install, test and document the hardware and cabling for the building and provide ongoing maintenance services.

The deadline for replies is Wednesday, September 30. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27225.
