Cellnet expands iWorld distribution deal

In a move designed to capitalise on the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch, Cellnet is now the exclusive ANZ distributor for iWorld.

The company already had a master distribution agreement with the Australian supplier of Apple accessories. Its brands include iLuv, Speck, Dexim, 4Mac, Livespeakr, JWIN, Maclove and Riot Outfitters.

iWorld director Chad DeClase says the agreement is designed to grow its presence in the New Zealand market.

“Cellnet are experts in distribution, and this association allows us to place an increased focus on the new developments of emerging products and technology, which is imperative in the fast-moving retail environment,” he says.

Cellnet ANZ CEO Stuart Smith says its local telecommunications and retail resellers now have access to all of iWorld’s products.

“We are forecasting iWorld’s Apple-focused brands iLuv, Dexim and 4Mac to perform particularly well leading up to Christmas.”
