NZTA searches for multifunction supplier

The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking one multifunction device supplier to streamline its computer hardware requirements. According to tender documents released this week, the NZTA has multiple suppliers throughout its 22 offices in a variety of leased and owned arrangements.

Suppliers must provide details of how the multifunction devices will be connected to the NZTA network such as drivers or online links.

The NZTA runs a number of different print servers including Windows Server 2003, Netware and iPrint. Devices must be compatible with these.

It intends a rollout of multifunction devices to all offices, starting with Auckland. Eight appliances should be delivered by Friday, December 4.

The deadline for replies is Wednesday, October 14. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27327.
