Netbooks have shown growth, while ultraslims and all-in-ones are also high on manufacturers' agendas as products that have maintained a place on consumers' shopping lists.

Manufacturers will be watching the performance of more traditional segments such as desktops and general portables, once an expected market pickup kicks in.
