MED gives suppliers advance warning

It’s only October but the Ministry of Economic Development has already posted a notice online advising suppliers of an upcoming end to end communications request for proposal (RFP).

The tender will cover a voice, video, data mobile and security offering. It may also include datacentre consolidation, and VoIP telephony.

Innovative ideas such as GPS integrated mobile devices are sought. The Ministry is planning to select one provider for the project.

The deadline for the RFP is Monday, November 30. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27573.
