Asnet acquires IP Communications

Videoconferencing specialist and Polycom distributor Asnet Technologies has acquired the assets and business of Christchurch-based IP Communications.

Asnet general manager and director Chris Stewart says the agreement will help support his company's customer base in the South Island, and those of IP Communications.

"Our expertise in the video and audio conferencing industry will allow the new business of IP Communications to grow significantly in the South Island region,” he says.

Richard Bishop has been appointed regional manager for IP Communications. The Christchurch company provides Lifesize's HD videoconferencing products, and will now offer the Polycom suite to its customers and channel.
