SAP teams with Plant and Food Research

SAP has notched up another customer win with Crown Research Institute Plant & Food Research.

The vendor’s Business Suite platform was selected for the organisation to manage the recently merged business of Crop & Food Research and HortResearch.

SAP NZ managing director Graeme Riley says the company decided to replace its business management systems as the two organisations had different IT applications.

“Securing a proven common platform is central to the success of a merger like Plant & Food Research, particularly in times of economic uncertainty when protecting productivity is critical and rapid deployment is preferred,” he says.
