SAP widens global Open Text agreement

SAP has agreed to start reselling Open Text’s extended enterprise content management (ECM) in a global deal.

Extended ECM enables customers to bring together enterprise applications and ECM which reduces the risks of records mismanagement.

This is an expansion of the current reseller agreement between the two companies. SAP already resells Open Text’s document access and archiving and invoice management offerings.

A key focus for enterprises is to eliminate silos of information that both dampen productivity and increase exposure to risks said Open Text president and CEO John Shackleton.

“By working closely with SAP, we are able to give customers a way to manage all their vital information in a secure, uniform way, and have it be available to the right person at the right time. We are entering into a new phase in the evolution of content management technology.”

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
