Wellington IT gets global pitch

Wellington IT companies wanting to show their credentials globally via the internet have a chance at the second Wellington to the World (W2W) event next month.

Organised by IT networking organisation Unlimited Potential, the event is to feature companies filming segments which will be broadcast on the organisation's YouTube channel.

W2W project manager Paul Spence says the event is designed to strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial networks.

“Our aim is to support technology start-ups with great potential by building up a knowledge base offering to the world.”

Speakers at the event include blogger Richard MacManus and entrepreneur Ben Young.

W2W takes place at the Wellington Town Hall on Tuesday, November 17.
