Cisco, Ingram Micro get their Flip on

Cisco is using distributor Ingram Micro to offer its Flip Video digital camcorders on November 2 in ANZ.

The pocket camcorders offer video sharing technology combined with ultra portable design. Cisco will also be launching the Flip Mino and MinoHD.

Cisco consumer products vice president Craig Gledhill says teaming up with Ingram Micro will help strengthen its focus on the consumer market.

“Ingram Micro has a strong reputation and extensive channel network. The company will be able to provide its partners with fast access to the new Flip Video products so consumers will be able to buy them in time for Christmas and on an ongoing basis as the products grow in popularity. “

Ingram Micro ANZ vice president, Jay Miley says the Flip Video is a great fit with the range of consumer products the company already handles.

“Ingram Micro and Cisco are fully committed to its channel partnership and customer satisfaction, and we look forward to working closely with Cisco to help them to exceed their goals for this product in Australia and New Zealand.”
