Solnet becomes first local JBoss partner

Solnet Solutions has been named a Red Hat advanced business partner and JBoss certified partner by the vendor.

Solnet was chosen as a JBoss partner due to its strong track record of delivering enterprise solutions comprising open source, including Red Hat and JBoss.

Solnet managing director Mark Botherway says open source offers considerable benefits to customers including lower cost of ownership, flexibility and speed of innovation. "Users and analysts alike attest to the commercial maturity of commercial open source software. We are delighted to be advancing our long standing relationship with Red Hat."

Red Hat ANZ senior director and general manager Max McLaren says the addition of Solnet to the Red Hat advanced business partner programme further broadens its presence in the competitive New Zealand market.

“Solnet is also our first certified JBoss partner in the region and with increasing demand for JBoss Enterprise Middleware solutions, particularly as organisations look for ways to carve costs out of IT infrastructures, we now have a certified partner to help us address our clients’ needs.”
