Arbor Networks appoints Observatory Crest

Security-specialist distributor Observatory Crest has won a sole agreement to offer Arbor Networks' products in Australia and New Zealand, including the Peakflow network security and analysis offering and the eSeries broadband service optimisation offering.

Observatory Crest director Martin Christmas says it will be working with existing value added resellers to help Arbor Networks expand its market coverage, and will recruit more partners to focus on specific verticals.

It will also provide some sales and presales support, along with hardware spares covered under support contracts.

ANZ country manager for Arbor Networks, Nick Race, says, “Through an extensive worldwide partner networks we’re winning the fight against a high percentage of malicious attacks, and together with partners like Observatory Crest, are helping ISPs and our enterprise customers to build strategic defenses, improving security not only with the tools we develop but also through education, familiarisation and general awareness. This is where our partners play an active and very important role in their regions.”
