Enterprise B2B offering for Inland Revenue

Enterprise B2B offering for Inland Revenue

Inland Revenue is seeking information from suppliers for an Enterprise B2B offering as it transitions from a paper based to electronic service.

The department will liaise with software providers of accounting and payroll packages. The offering will be required to scale from a small system used for testing by a group of software developers, up to one of the largest B2B environments planned locally. Inland Revenue expects to grow the electronic capability over time with all services offered via e-channels, and the majority of these available as B2B services from compliant user held software products.

The department will trial GST returns and provisional tax with software developers in the June 2010 timeframe, however this will grow to several systems offering the B2B channel by June 2011.

The deadline for replies is Friday, November 20. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27939.
