Rangitoto College seeks IP-PBX telephony

Rangitoto College in Auckland is looking for a IP-PBX telephony offering. The college’s network is getting upgraded and will have a new fibre backbone with 26 cabinets.

The telephony offering will need the ability to support 12 single analogue extensions for faxes and eftpos machines running off 12 different cabinets. It will also need to support 317 mailboxes.

The offering should have a wireless phone option to work with WiFi deployment. There will initially be 117 IP phones and around 215 virtual extensions required. The virtual extension may log in to any phone to retrieve phone messages.

The deadline for replies is Friday, November 20. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 27964.
