MOH starts data management review

MOH starts data management review

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is after a consultant with electronic clinical records and data management analysis experience to conduct a review.

The review will focus on youth health and hospital dental services, data collected and the opportunities for a clinical record. The aim is to improve analysis and reporting of oral health data.

MOH is also doing the review to evaluate district health board oral health IT requirements and put in place a plan to address IT challenges.

The consultant will need to identify if the data collection systems will support the new child and adolescent health services and whether the information collected could be better utilised by the health sector.

The deadline for replies is Friday, December 4. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 28024.
