Te Wananga O Aotearoa replaces VoIP

In an effort to update its voice infrastructure, Te Wananga O Aotearoa is looking for a supplier to provide a centralised IP based Cisco VoIP system. Its current hardware is built upon a mix of NEC IP, digital, analogue and Nortel/Aria systems.

The Wananga intends to replace all of its PABX systems. This includes digital handsets and the majority of analogue handsets. A small number of analogue devices will be re-used.

A total of 32 sites are included in the project. The sites have hardware ranging from five to 250 phones.

The deadline for replies is Thursday, December 10. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 28106.
