Department of Labour to control internet access

To better control web access, the Department of Labour is after a vendor to provide a browsing and reporting offering.

The product should improve security, manage network traffic, monitor and report on internet usage. It also needs enhanced security against modern threats, reputation based filtering, delegated reporting and greater information assurance.

Vendors will have to describe a pricing/licensing model and provide a total cost for the offering including hardware, software and support services.

The deadline for replies is Thursday, December 17. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 28189.
