BOP Polytechnic to replace core switching

BOP Polytechnic to replace core switching

The Bay of Plenty Polytechnic is in the process of upgrading its core switching infrastructure at two campuses in Tauranga. The current network consists of Cisco switches but it may replace these with another brand it can standardise for future installs.

As it plans to start using more VoIP across the campuses, it requires power over ethernet (PoE) to simplify the infrastructure deployment.

The Polytechnic is looking for a minimum three year hardware and software warranty.

The deadline for replies is Monday, December 14. More details are available on the Government Electronic Tenders website under ICCNZ reference 28215.
