Atlas Gentech retains sole NZ Plantronics distributorship after Altech Lansing separation

Long-term local Plantronics distributor Atlas Gentech retains sole local rights to the agency amid changes across the Tasman, following Plantronics' sale of Altec Lansing to Prophet Equity in the US. The Altec Lansing sale took effect on 1 December, and Plantronics will retain particular Altec Lansing assets and liabilities. Plantronics' ANZ managing director Graeme Gherbaz confirms Atlas Gentech remains the sole New Zealand distributor, while Cellnet has been appointed a distributor in Australia. Amber Technologies has secured a master distribution agreement for Altech Lansing on both sides of the Tasman, says Gherbaz.
