Ho trades Morning Star for NZ Computer Sales

Former Morning Star sales and marketing director Victor Ho has left the distributor and will join specialist wholesaler NZ Computer Sales in January.

Ho will become senior product manager at NZ Computer Sales, which sells ex-lease, used and refurbished computer equipment, along with new and ex-demonstration computer stock.

Ho says after six years with the distributor it was time for a change. He left Morning Star in mid-November.

“I’ll be selling second-hand computers, so it will be a very different role for me. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

Ho joined Morning Star in 2003 as a group product manager. Prior to this, he had held product manager roles at Ingram Micro — dating back to when the company was Tech Pacific.

Morning Star is currently seeking a replacement for Ho.

In September last year, product managers Eric Zen and Max Zhang left the distributor during tough trading times for the company. Back then, Ho said their roles would not be replaced.
