Unified communications company Mitel has signed 25 new channel partners across Australia and New Zealand, and expanded its training programmes. It added three partners in New Zealand to bring the total to 11.
Channel manager Anne Wrencher says more businesses are migrating to unified communications software.
“Not only have we recruited more business partners but we have extended our overall programme to include a range of free training courses, resulting in enhanced delivery of Mitel offerings to our customers. In the second half of 2009 alone, our partners certified 85 engineers in Australia and New Zealand.”
She adds the online courses provide additional training that complements classroom-based courses. Mitel's partners can do the training at work.
