A shorter submission process and expanded categories will feature in the fourth annual Microsoft Partner Awards next year.
The new categories include channel person of the year, partner choice award, MSN NZ advertising partner of the year and business impact solution of the year. Submissions must be in by May 31. The changes are designed to bring the local awards in line with the worldwide partner awards.
Partner group director Brent Colbert says this will allow the event to have a larger impact on the industry.
“The awards are designed to reward our partners for the great work they do all year long. We felt it was important to expand the awards scope this year as a chance to demonstrate and celebrate more of that high-calibre work produced by the industry.”
Judging will take place during June and each category will be judged by a four person panel, with the final awards ceremony to take place in August.
