Auckland City Council eyes backup system

Tier one resellers are sought by the Auckland City Council for a new enterprise backup and recovery offering. Components of the current system are out of date and no longer supported.

The Council also has issues with backup errors and delays in waiting for restores to be completed. IT staff are spending 50 hours per week performing backup and recovery tasks.

Resellers will have to upgrade functionally, fix faults and provide capacity for the next six years. The deadline for replies is Friday, January 29.
