Anyware debuts China-based Huntkey

The distributor Anyware has added Chinese case and power supply-specialist Huntkey’s products to its range.

Local branch manager Winnie Han says the brand is well known in Australia, but her company wants to promote Huntkey in New Zealand to raise its profile here.

ANZ director Garrison Huang saw the products on a trip to China and wanted Anyware to stock them in New Zealand because of their quality, says Han.

“He thought it was a manufacturer that was very strong and the prices are mid-range. We’ve sent a few samples to customers and the feedback was really good,” she says.

The Huntkey line will complement Anyware’s Thermaltake range of cases and power supplies, which Han believes are targeted specifically at the gaming market, whereas she says Huntkey covers the gaming and entry-level spaces.

As the sole local distributor, Anyware will initially stock three case models and three types of power supplies, but will expand the range later.

Other Huntkey products include notebook adapters, chassis and power strips.

Founded in 1992, Huntkey has more than 7000 employees, with branches in Hong Kong, Japan and Europe and its own R&D centres.
