Early adopters sign for Telarus white label service

Infrastructure-based service provider Telarus now has two partners for its white label service, saying there has been “significant interest” from other potential resellers.

The company is offering partners the chance to rebadge a range of managed services that utilise its high-speed, trans-Tasman MPLS network. These include Telarus Managed Firewall and Telarus Virtual Server. Local partners on board to date are MHA and Unleash.

“To cater for the requirements of Unleash, we provisioned a virtual router to terminate its internet customers, handing off the traffic from these services to Unleash via a single Ethernet VLAN,” says Telarus CEO Jules Rumsey.

Telarus says the company’s solutions engineer assigned to MHA has designed a number of options that MHA can select from, when deploying solutions for customers.

The company sees potential for huge growth in the channel and plans to develop additional managed services that utilise its network.

It offers co-branded billing, which is said to remove the complexity associated with voice services billing and allow partners the chance to quickly launch new products to the market.

In addition, Telarus has added two new fibre carrier partners - CityLink and Vector. It already has a carrier agreement with Telecom and says these partnerships can offer dedicated virtual private networks to customers.

The company is currently in discussions with other potential carrier partners.
