Wellington City Council hunts POS information

The Wellington City Council has issued a request for information to gain a better understanding about the supply of point of sale (POS) equipment.

The successful vendor will offer POS that has payment screens and applications that can interface with local eftpos terminals. It should also enable interfacing with back-end systems using Open Standard Web Services and be supported by standard hardware and software.

Local support and a track record of implementing similar offerings are needed by the council.

The deadline for replies is Friday, April 16.
