ACC in market for electronic forms offering

ACC wants to allow health providers to electronically access and submit to ACC a variety of forms, reports and referrals. These artefacts, which are generated throughout the claim injury treatment lifecycle are required by ACC when assessing and processing lodged claims and claim entitlement requests. An electronic forms submission for health providers that is integrated with ACC’s own systems will allow the corporation to reduce the administrative effort required by both ACC and health providers which is currently associated with requests for claim-relevant patient health records. It will also mean ACC has access to relevant clinical information necessary to carry out prior approval decisions for treatment and rehabilitation services, including requests for elective surgery. The deadline for replies is Friday, May 14.
