Health Alliance seeks real time location system

Health Alliance seeks real time location system

The Health Alliance, a joint venture between Counties Manukau (CMDHB) and Waitemata District Health Boards, is undertaking a project called the Lakeview Extension project on the North Shore. Part of the project is to implement a real time location tracking system to support tracking of patients, equipment and staff. This system is planned as a pilot scheme for the Lakeview extension only; although the level of success may result in additional installation of the chosen system. The Alliance wants to provide staff with accurate location information, integrated with clinical applications and allow patient/staff interactions to be recorded at the patient bedside. Suppliers will need to provide tags and software to be used for patient, staff and equipment tracking. The deadline for replies is Friday, May 21.
