Sqware Peg, Informatica form Apac cloud partnership

Australian-based cloud consultancy Sqware Peg has inked a deal with Informatica Corporation to resell Informatica Cloud in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The company also recently became the first Australian-based partner for SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence OnDemand.

Informatica Cloud Services are designed to integrate Salesforce CRM data with common web services as well as a variety of on-premise systems and databases, the company says.

Sqware Peg began as a CRM provider in 2003 and has been working since with Salesforce.com. Sqware Peg also enables cloud solutions for Eloqua, Google and Financial Force.

“Our new relationship with Informatica is a great move forward for Sqware Peg in the Asia Pacific region, says Shawn Stilwell, managing director of Sqware Peg. “Informatica has traditionally built and integrated their technology in an on-premise format and has deployed successfully to many large and international enterprises. Traditionally this required very powerful onsite infrastructure and implementation. This isn’t required now as these same tools are now driven through the browser. This geography is ready for a quality-driven, subscription-based cloud technology player like Informatica.”

Ron Papas, Information Cloud general manager, says Sqware Peg understands the importance of integration to the success of cloud computing.

“As data becomes more and more fragmented, Informatica Cloud Services empowers customers to access and integrate all their cloud data easily and cost-effectively. Working with Sqware Peg means customers will benefit from their successful track record [and] regional momentum,” Papas says.
