SAP, Open Text extend global reseller deal

SAP has expanded its relationship with enterprise content management software company Open Text. The vendor will resell Open Text’s employee file management application under its own name.

The application lets companies create digital records of all personnel-related documents integrated with the SAP ERP human capital management.

SAP currently resells a number of Open Text offerings for document access, archiving and invoice management.

SAP software solution partners global vice president Tom Robert says SAP employee file management can help productivity in the human resources department.

"Instead of spending the majority of their time on labour-intensive administrative tasks, HR staff is freed up to focus more of their time and effort on recruitment, skills development and serving as a more productive resource for the operational areas they support. By joining forces with Open Text, we are bringing new capabilities to our customers that can help deliver significant, sustained return on investment."

Malwarebytes shoots the breeze with channel, prospects

A Kumeu, Auckland, winery was the venue for a Malwarebytes event for partner and prospect MSPs - with some straight shooting on the side. The half-day getaway, which featured an archery competition, lunch and wine-tasting aimed at bringing Malwarebytes' local New Zealand and top and prospective MSP partners together to celebrate recent local successes, and discuss the current state of malware in New Zealand. This was also a unique opportunity for local MSPs to learn about how they can get the most out of Malwarebytes' MSP program and offering, as more Kiwi businesses are targeted by malware.
