Microsoft has announced that Jon Roskill, the corporate vice president of its business and marketing organisation, will be its new partner group corporate vice president.
From July 1, Roskill will switch roles with Allison Watson, who previously led the global partner group.
“Both Allison and Jon have a long history working in multiple divisions throughout Microsoft,” global COO Kevin Turner said in a recent press statement. . "Jon deeply understands the critical factors a customer goes through in making IT buying decisions. He will leverage his depth of knowledge in his new role, and I'm confident he will ensure that our partners continue to win and grow in the marketplace."
Watson will now report to Robert Youngjohns, senior vice president of North America sales and marketing.
Both Watson and Roskill will speak at the vendor’s upcoming Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington DC next month.
