Renaissance gains disty rights to five brands

Distributor Renaissance has added five product ranges to its exclusive list.

The products include Booq laptop bags, Cygnett iPod accessories, Kanex iAdapt display adapters, Konnett AV peripherals and PowerStick mobile charging products.

Peripherals general manager Michele Harrington says the company is committed to extending its range of accessories and ensure customers get the most from their favourite Apple device.

According to the distributor it has brought on Konnett to target the growing gaming market.

The different ranges will be sold at Apple authorised resellers and at Renaissance’s MagnumMac and StudentIT stores.

Cygnett was previously distributed by Dove Electronics. Managing director Rick Jansen says it looked after the brand for two years but decided to drop Cygnett as it was too highly priced for the market.

"We agreed to keep the brand until a new distributor came along so when Renaissance popped up it was good timing."
