In order to help its channel partners, Symantec has introduced archiving and eDiscovery specialisation.
Partners receive the specialisation by completing sales and technical accreditations for Symantec Enterprise Vault.
Once they have accreditation, partners get access to Symantec sales and technical resources as well as promotions and rebates in the Opportunity Registration programme.
Asia Pacific and Japan channels and SMB vice president, David Dzienciol says specialisations have become the cornerstone of Symantec’s partnering strategy.
“Symantec is focused on providing partners with enough time to begin the process of achieving specialisations that are relevant to their business before the switch to the enhanced programme requirements happening at the end of 2010.”
The archiving and eDiscovery specialisation is available to global strategic, channel platinum, gold, silver corporate reseller, silver, registered and distribution level partners.
