Distributor Connector Systems continues to expand its product roster with Israeli-headquarterd IP service optimisation provider Allot Communications.
Its products include broadband management offering Allot NetEnforcer together with network and application performance offerings.
"The addition of Allot Communications fits into our growth strategy very well as we are already involved in the telco / ISP market through other complimentary vendors that we represent," says telecommunications general manager Kevin Swainson.
He adds that there is strong opportunity for Allot as more telecommunication companies and ISPs are looking to maximise and manage their internet usage.
Connector Systems will support the brand with demonstration and evaluation gear for telcos and ISPs, and it will be involved in Allot's partner conference to be held in Hong Kong next month. The distributor wants to work with local resellers who plan to attend the event.
In addition, Connector Systems plans to offer partner training sessions at a demo facility being developed at its Auckland premises.
General manager Mark Dasent says the training facility will be used for many of its key brands in future, and it will upskill a staff member to provide training on vendors' behalf. In the longer term it plans to add additional staff to provide certification and refresher courses.
Allot is also distributed by Renaissance.
