Promotion leads to new Kaspersky ANZ country manager

Security software vendor Kaspersky Labs has promoted Andrew Mamonitis to ANZ country manager. He was the vendor’s ANZ sales director.

His appointment follows the promotion of country manager Alexey Gromyko to another senior role with Kaspersky in the Asia-Pacific region.

Mamonitis is charged with developing the consumer and corporate market, improving sales growth and maintaining local support. He has worked in the IT industry for 10 years.

APAC managing director Harry Cheung says the appointments are part of its aggressive push to increase market share in Australia and New Zealand.

“Kaspersky is experiencing significant growth in the consumer and corporate information security markets in Australia and New Zealand as we strengthen our partner programmes and continue to deliver our market leading technologies to these countries,” he says.
