Sonicwall teams with Origin IT

Network security and data protection vendor Sonicwall has partnered with services provider Origin IT.

Origin IT will offer Sonicwall’s full suite, comprising intelligent firewalls, unified threat management, SSL VPNs, email security and continuous data protection.

Sonicwall says it selected Origin IT because it is well established and has a service oriented-culture, along with a deep understanding of local businesses. “New Zealand is an exciting growth market and Origin IT perfectly complements Sonicwall’s existing reseller coverage,” says ANZ country manager Dean Redman. “Its significant market share and strong brand presence are founded on an enviable reputation for a people-first approach to IT-support, particularly in the SMB and enterprise space. This agreement will assist us in servicing new customers…and helping to grow our market share.” Origin IT will offer Sonicwall’s range to its existing customers and potential new clients. It will also have access to new products expected later this year as part of Sonicwall’s Project Supermassive technology, revealed last quarter.

Director Michael Russell says New Zealand businesses want simple to use and affordable offerings, and it will provide these along with a people-centric approach to business.
