Ministry of Foreign Affairs hunts text tools

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is currently negotiating a number of free trade agreements and wants to improve the process. It uses components of legal text from previous agreements to develop the text of new ones.

It currently uses processes that are predominantly manual, and simple tools such as Word, to develop text by developing matrices. These consist of Word tables to compare and contrast two or more sets of text and provide comment.

The Ministry wants to acquire tools to improve the efficiency and quality of this process.

The deadline for replies is Friday, September 3.
