Acronis introduces monthly webinars

Backup and recovery provider Acronis is set to offer free monthly webinars for channel partners, hosted by its sales and technical specialists.

They will cover topics relating to backup and recovery in physical and virtual environments, with product information, sales tools, technical demonstrations and support facilities, says Acronis.

“We have been getting positive responses from Acronis resellers to the webinars we hosted early this year. Now it’s time for us to expand these educational webinars and offer them more frequently so more resellers can benefit from them,” says Simon Howe, ANZ country manager for Acronis.

These webinars will be uploaded onto the Acronis Partner Portal, and Acronis says this is one of a number of improvements to the portal. Other additions are sales collateral, marketing campaigns and promotions, and technical updates. It says partners also have easier access to technical support via the partner support request system as well as links to its Knowledge Base.

The vendor has more than 500 active ANZ partners registered on its portal since it launched the partner programme and portal last February.

The webinar schedule for quarter three is on the portal.
