MED searches for GIS supplier

The Ministry of Education is seeking a provider of geographical information system (GIS) software, data and services.

It uses the technology to assist with property planning, creating enrolment zones and allocating resources.

Currently, there are 35 end users, with an equivalent number of MapInfo software licenses issued to staff across the country. MED wants to expand this for other uses such as research, policy development and use by management and other staff to make informed decisions.

The supplier will need to create datasets and table creation. The deadline for replies is Friday, September 24.
