HTC appoints ANZ manager

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has appointed Ben Hodgson, as country manager for HTC in Australia and New Zealand. He has more than 15 years' experience in telecommunications.

Most recently, he was Brightstar Logistics' regional director of new business for Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was the general manager for Imate Australasia.

“The HTC brand has achieved remarkable recognition in the past couple of years, spearheaded by its portfolio of market leading offerings," says Hodgson. " I look forward to continuing to develop HTC’s potential in this market, and working closely with our ANZ customers, partners and internal teams.”

HTC partners with distributor Synnex on both sides of the Tasman.
