US-headquartered business execution software vendor SuccessFactors is establishing a local partner programme and looking for up to three partners.
The vendor’s offerings include software as a service platforms and a hosted service called SuccessCloud.
Asia Pacific and Japan channels and alliances director Ben Corser says it currently has no local partners but wants to appoint three large companies. He says it is currently in discussions, but can’t name the companies due to commercial sensitivity.
The company is also in the process of starting a partner programme to launch in September, which will include incentives.
“It is a very important time for us to establish our go-to-market strategy,” says Corser. “I have no intention of appointing a huge number of partners.”
“We have 16 products and the most important is our staff management technology. We focus on the business productivity market by arming employees with tools that can help them.”
Prior to joining SuccessFactors, Corser worked as an Asia Pacific senior director of channel sales and operations for EMC/RSA. He was also Asia Pacific enterprise business channel sales at Nokia.
“Having worked for organisations like EMC and Nokia, SuccessFactors is in that space where EMC was five years ago in terms of channel engagement.”
He says the vendor may establish a local office in Auckland, depending on market conditions. It is currently running an ANZ office from Sydney.
